Guidelines on The Assessment and Determination of The Best Interest of The Child – Višegrad i Bijeljina

Višegrad and Bijeljina are the cities in which we have presented Guidelines on The Assessment and Determination of The Best Interest of The Child in the past month. We thank the presenters, Aleksandra Marin Diklic, Head of the Department for Monitoring the Exercise of Children’s Rights of the Institution of the Ombudsman of BiH and Nada Grahovac, representatives of the Institution of the Ombudsman for Children of RS, who spoke about the importance of this guide for professionals.

We also thank the representatives of institutions and organizations for active participation: Basic Court in Višegrad, Basic Court in Bijeljina, BiH Border Police Bijeljina, Police Administration Bijeljina, Health Centers Visegrad and Bijeljina, Mental Health Center Ugljevik, Center for Free Legal Aid Bijeljina, primary schools “Hasan Turčilo-Brzi” Ilovača, “Vuk Karadžić” Višegrad, “Sveti Sava” Bijeljina, “Jovan Dučić” Bijeljina, PI Kindergarten “Čika Jova Zmaj” Bijeljina, Centers for Social Work Višegrad, Rudo, Novo Goražde, Bijeljina and Ugljevik and representatives of network organizations on the organization and support of Otaharin – Citizen’s Association for the promotion of education of Roma, the Association Land of Children in B&H, the Association “Our Children” Sarajevo and UNICEF Bosnia and Herzegovina.
