Online training of professionals on “The best interests of the child in the field of family and social protection”

With the aim of acquiring and improving knowledge, skills and competencies for assessing and determining the best interests of the child in family and social protection, on November 3 and 4, 2020, an online training of professionals was held on “The best interests of the child in family and social protection ”. Participants in the training were representatives of the social sector, working on the department of protection of marriage, family and children from the Sarajevo Canton – Service for Social Affairs, Health, Refugees and Displaced Persons of Novo Sarajevo, Department for Social Protection of Centar Sarajevo, Veterans Affairs , work, social issues and health of the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo, Foster Care Service of KCSR Sarajevo, Social Protection Service of the Municipality of Centar Sarajevo, Social Protection Service of the Municipality of Ilijaš, Social Protection Service of the Municipality of Vogošća , as well as a representative of the Ministry of Labor, Social Policy, Displaced Persons and Refugees of Sarajevo Canton. The trainers (educators) were respected Dr. Suzana Bubić, Professor Emeritus of Family Law from the University “Džemal Bijedić” Mostar and Mirsada Poturković from PI “Cantonal Center for social work “Sarajevo. We thank the participants for their active participation and UNICEF Bosnia and Herzegovina for their continuous support in the organization and implementation of trainings.
